The challenge

Build an AI solution for social impact.

This hackathon features 5 tracks focused on real-world areas where AI can make a meaningful difference. The goal is not just to build something cool, but to build something that can create real value.
We care about how you think as much as what you build, so consider impact, feasibility, and ethical implications as you shape your idea. Great projects here can become standout portfolio pieces recruiters actually want to talk about.
All participants also get free Claude Pro (including Claude Code access) and API credits. We send the request form for these benefits in batches by email (you need an IU email for that). Processing can take about a week, so depending on when you register, we cannot guarantee Claude Pro or API credit access before the event. However, once you submit the form, you will still receive access for personal use.
